-----I make this rustic stoneware tableware to order. It is hand-made for you from a gray stoneware clay and glazed with a matt glaze of your choice. The matt stoneware glazes are color coordinated and can be wonderfully combined with each other. But even a monochrome set has a special charm.
The glazes are deliberately applied unevenly. This underlines the uniqueness and makes no two pieces alike. The glaze itself is only visual, because the high firing has already burned the dishes into stoneware and therefore does not allow any water to penetrate.
The individual pieces can be selected. They have the following dimensions:
Large plate: approx. 26.5 cm in diameter
Medium plate: approx. 20 cm in diameter
Small plate: approx. 12.5 cm in diameter
small bowl: 11 cm in diameter, 4.5 cm high
Large bowl: 17 cm in diameter, 6 cm high, holds 500 ml
Cup: 300 ml capacity
The dishes are fired twice (2nd glaze firing at 1,230 degrees) and are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe thanks to the high firing.
The glazes I use are all food safe.
Cutting on the white plates can temporarily create gray lines on the white plates, but these can be removed again when washed with the help of a sponge.
Photos: The images are sample photos. The piece you receive is made from the same clay using the same technique. It is the same size, shape and glaze as the picture. The pieces in the pictures are examples of what you will receive. I will make sure they look just as excellent as shown in the photos.
