Dinnerware set for 4 people (28 pieces) with Indian Tree pattern, manufactured by New Hall (Hanley) in England around 1940. The Indian tree pattern consists of a tree with brown bark, pink flowers as well as green leaves; it decorates creamy white porcelain pieces. All the pieces are decorated with gilding.
The service includes:
4 dinner plates 10 inches (25.5 cm) in diameter;
4 soup plates, 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter and 1 inch (2.5 cm) high;
4 salad plates, 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter;
4 bread plates, 6.75 inches (17.25 cm) in diameter;
4 dessert bowls, 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter and 1 inch (2.5 cm) high;
4 cup-saucer sets:
Each cup measures 4 inches (10 cm) wide (with handle) and 2.75 inches (7 cm) high
each saucer measures 5.75 inches (14.5 cm) in diameter.
