Two vintage stacked ceramic mugs with retro butterfly and flower pattern from the 1970s.
These cups fit perfectly with soft coffee pods (one pod for one cup).
The decoration of the two cups extends from one to the other, making it a unique set.
My clients love the originality and poetry of this concept!
The whole thing is harmonious and above all very practical. You can use them every day and put them in the microwave or dishwasher. These items are unique and are sold in pairs, they are inseparable!
The decor evokes the 1970s. The seventies, the period in which I was born.
I was immersed in an atmosphere surrounded by hippies, atmospheric music emanating from 33 rpm records with covers, each more colorful than the last...
Added to this was an environment where the interiors of the houses were adorned with decorations with geometric patterns as well as large flowers in bright colors, just like the clothes, the pots and the oilcloth tablecloth in the kitchen!
It is with the nostalgia of this period that we wanted to create a special seventies collection which brings a little color and cheerfulness to this world where color no longer has much of a place...
It's a journey through time that you can find on these pieces with more or less detailed illustrations. There are sometimes price differences for the same shape depending on the complexity of the decor which is unique, which carries the object and which comes straight from our inspiration of the moment.
This ceramic is made of earth from Puisaye (Burgundy, region of France), it is a sandstone turned and decorated by hand.
The decoration is created with a fine brush, freehand, on the powdered enamel background before glazing by high-temperature firing (1240 degrees).
The pattern is unalterable because it is melted with the enamel.
All our creations are unique in the world! There will never be two strictly identical sets, even on small series, they are not all exactly the same because they are shot one by one and are neither cast nor calibrated... and that is their charm .
Each piece is signed "E-FIEVET" and is intended for food use because it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
