Lovely French antique green transferware vintage plate. This model is called "DAISY" and made by famous northern french manufacturer or earthenware ' Nouvelles Usines Ceramiques du Nord St. Amand (NORD)', in Terre de Fer.
The cream white ceramic is decorated by red transfer with a geometric design as an accent around the flat edge of the plate.
Each is either stamped or imprinted with letters : « Nouvelles Usines Ceramiques du Nord DAISY" » or imprinted with Terre de Fer and a letter. They are all identical and from the same lot but back in the day not all plates were stamped by the maker when sold as a service.

PLEASE NOTE: I have 2 plates in stock and this listing is for ONE 1 Plate. The listing is programmed to allow you to select a quantity you wish to purchase. Please ask me if the shipping doesn't make sense as the Etsy system is NOT programmed in France to calculate the shipping automatically so it's a manual entry subject to error. If the shipping is not correct, I always refund overages when processing my orders.
--- Condition ---
They are overall in very good vintage condition due to the age. There are certainly signs of usage and they all have lovely imperfections such as manufacturing/glazing marks on the surface, pattern fading/bleeding in areas, utensil marks/scratches on the surface, there are areas around the edges of wearing down of the protection glaze or tiny marks where there is no varnish (surface not smooth), discoloration marks/spots and surface crazing in random areas on some plates and Plate N#17 & N#23 have tiny chips on the front edge as shown in the photos. Please take a look at the photos closely and use ZOOM for details on the plate especially the photo collages. If you are not sure, please ask me questions about the condition of the plates and request more photos.
**Special Note about aged Porcelain**
If you are not accustomed to this ‘look’, google crazing and the aging process of porcelain. The Japanese use crazing to add an artistic look to their pieces whereas antiques go through the natural aging process. Crazing is cracking in the surface of the plate due to use sometimes it's even and is called the crackle look and other times it is random.
These items are old, were used and were manufactured at a time when processes were less under control as today. Therefore, in addition to the defects identified and reported in the ad, slight dimensional differences or deviations in the color or in the decoration between the different parts could be noted. Besides, some little marks or small manufacturing imperfections such as minor defects in the glaze or in the varnish etc., may also be observed.
